Il concerto di sabato 7 luglio sarà l’ultimo con l’amico The Fog, che lascia il gruppo a causa di impegni personali e professionali. Gli Unborn proseguiranno in quattro: The Shape (voce), The Blob (chitarra), The Stranger (basso) e The Ghoul (batteria).
Saremo sul palco del Distruggi La Bassa Festival 2018 alle 19.30, quindi siate puntuali!

Negli scorsi mesi, alcuni nostri brani sono stati richiesti per un paio di compilation. La prima è una raccolta Bandcamp intitolata Smash Your Heads On The Punk Rock Vol. 2, curata dalle webzine Smash The Discos e Just Some Punk Songs.
Abbiamo contribuito a Smash Your Heads con un inedito, “L’Ultimo Uomo della Terra”. Il brano – così come il resto della compilation – può essere ascoltato e scaricato gratuitamente dall’apposita pagina Bandcamp.
Altri due inediti, “Profondo Rosso” e “Solamente Nero”, appariranno invece in una raccolta curata dai ragazzi della fanzine Infrangibile. Il CD sarà disponibile nelle prossime settimane.
Sab. 10 marzo, a Roma, condivideremo il palco con i grandi Cockney Rejects e con gli amici No More Lies, Diario di Bordo, Zeman e Coru & Figau! Organizzano Rotten Inc. e Torpedos Roma!

La canzone antimilitarista La città verrà distrutta all’alba – tratta dal nostro 7″ di debutto Obey – è ispirata all’omonimo film horror e di fantascienza di George Romero (1973).

The Unborn are a horror Streetpunk band from central Italy. The Apoi!calypse album is 4 solid tracks of hard hitting punk and Oi influenced jams. The guitar work is heavy on the crunch, harmonizing at the right moments, then breaking off into beefed up riffs. As the album plays on, the heaviest parts of each song hit even harder by a fierce delivery of aggressive vocals and pounding drums. This album is sung in Italian, but for those who only speak English, it shouldn’t be a problem at all. The album flows so well, it’s worthy of the listening to.

I’ve always liked horrorpunk that taps into classic horror flicks. Even if horrorpunk isn’t your thing, or if non English albums aren’t either, try giving these guys a spin anyway. They have a powerful presence off their own that may agree with your ears.
